About The Programme

STPI is pleased to participate in this coming Singapore Art Week with presentations at ART SG and S.E.A. Focus, as well as the inaugural launch of The Print Show & Symposium Singapore. With these three highlight events, STPI celebrates local and regional contemporary art through the mediums of print and paper. 

At ART SG, STPI spotlights Singapore’s representative to the 2026 Venice Biennale, Amanda Heng, alongside four Cultural Medallion recipients, Chua Ek Kay, Goh Beng Kwan, Han Sai Por and Ong Kim Seng.  

Heng’s socially engaged practice revolves around themes of identity, memory and gender politics. At STPI, she incorporated her ethos of audience participation by weaving personal narratives from collaborators into her print works. 

Works by Chua, Goh, Han and Ong revisit familiar themes in their respective practices. Collectively, the presentation comments on Singapore’s rapid urbanisation through the lens of each artist—from nature and city life to nostalgia. 

Also at the booth are works by three acclaimed South Asian artists—Prabhavathi Meppayil , Shambhavi and Hema Upadhyay.
