STPI – Creative Workshop & Gallery returns to Frieze Seoul with the works of three celebrated Korean artists, Lee Bul (South Korea), Do Ho Suh (South Korea/United Kingdom) and Haegue Yang (South Korea/Germany), showcasing their groundbreaking works on print and paper achieved in collaboration with the STPI Creative Workshop. 

Internationally-acclaimed with major solo exhibitions at Leeum Museum of Art, Seoul, Contemporary Art Museum, St Louis, and Tate Modern, London respectively this year, their practices are informed by themes and sociopolitical milieu that find unique resonance in the Korean contemporary art scene.  

For the first time, audiences in Seoul will get an up-close view of Do Ho Suh’s thread drawing with gelatine of striking complexity and height of 3.55m (Small Gate, 2016).  

STPI will also present the works of eight other acclaimed artists from its residency programme: Angela Bulloch (Canada/Germany), Yanyun Chen (Singapore), Heman Chong (Singapore), Aaron Curry (United States), Richard Deacon (United Kingdom), Pae White (United States), Tobias Rehberger (Germany) and Donald Sultan (United States).
