About the Class
Explore the potential of blankness in this hands-on collagraph and embossing class, inspired by Yoo Hyun Mi's "The Blank Puzzle (The Image Yet to Come)". Create a collagraph matrix by layering paper into abstract forms, then transfer your composition through blind embossing. Watch as the image appears without ink or colour, and discover how pressure, texture and shadow can evoke depth and presence.
Recommended for ages 12 and above.
Participants are encouraged to prepare simple abstract forms they would like to explore prior to attending the class.
