New Releases Old Friends brings together the works of five artists: Angela Bulloch, Richard Deacon, Janice Kerbel, Tobias Rehberger and Pae White.

New works and techniques by Bulloch, Kerbel and Rehberger—such as ‘laser-off’ prints, ‘stained’ handkerchiefs and shaped handmade papers—are shown at STPI for the first time. They are placed in context with earlier works by Deacon and White, revealing kindred artistic investigations. This includes exploring the spaces between the two- and three-dimensional, translating sculptural/installation-based practices into the world of printmaking and papermaking, and playing with the graphic form of language.
