Mizuma Art Gallery and STPI present a group exhibition featuring O JUN, Junichi Mori, Kim Lim and Heman Chong.

These four artists have each developed their practices through diverse modes of expression, without confining themselves to a single technique or material. Though they come from different generations and cultural backgrounds, a shared sensibility resonates through their works.

Japanese artist O JUN and Singapore-based Heman Chong each move fluidly across multiple fields, weaving image, text and performance into their practices. Deeply personal and introspective, their works occupy a space between ambiguity and familiarity. Likewise, the minimalist works of Junichi Mori and Kim Lim place importance on process; inspired by the inherent patterns found in nature, they reveal a delicate attention to detail within restrained forms.

Though shaped by different places and contexts, their works resonate in parallel. The exhibition proposes this sense of “Parallel Echoes” as one possible point of departure.
