Get hands-on experience with paper- and printmaking in STPI's Guest Workshop! With two workshops to choose from, students can either get a sampling of various techniques or spend a more focused time getting in depth understanding of papermaking and etching.

- March 13, 14, 15, 16 (Tuesday-Friday)
- April 5, 12, 19, 26 (Thursdays)
- May 29, 30, 31, June 1 (Tuesday-Friday)
- November 20, 21, 22, 23 (Tuesday-Friday)

Foundation Sampler: Introduction to Papermaking, Intaglio, Silkscreen and Relief
Students will:
- Get familiar with STPI—our facilities and Visiting Artist Programme (VAP)
- Be introduced to the basic printmaking techniques used in screen-printing, dry point etching, relief printing, and the making of handmade paper
- Develop a deeper understanding of printmaking and the creative process involved
- Translate their creative ideas into a finished print
- Learn how to look at art, to appreciate, evaluate, and discuss it

Duration: 4 sessions, 3 hours per session from 2-5pm
Age: Suitable for students 10 years old and above
Group Size: 12 students
Fee: S$35.00 per student per session (Total workshop cost: S$1,680.00)
For 2012, there will be an introductory price of $17.50 per student per session
