Guided Tour
Docent led tour of current exhibition* in STPI Gallery and our Education Wall
Students will:
- Get familiar with STPI — our facilities and Visiting Artist Programme (VAP)
- Learn technical aspects of printmaking
- Understand fine art prints
- Learn to look, reflect, and discuss contemporary art—think creatively and critically
- Learn from one another
- Develop their own interpretations of art
Duration: 1 hour
Age: Suitable for students 5 years old and above.
Group Size: Up to 40 students; minimum of two chaperones
Tours are offered Tuesdays--Fridays 10:30am-4:00pm
Fee: Free of charge

Guided Tour + Activity
- Docent led tour* in STPI Gallery and of Education Wall
- Hands-on activity to introduce basic printmaking
Duration: 1.5 hour tour (45 mins for gallery tour, 45 mins for activity)
Age: Suitable for students 5 years old and above
Group Size: Kindergarten to Primary; up to 20 students, minimum of 2 chaperones.
Secondary to Tertiary; up to 12 students minimum of 1 chaperone.
Tours are offered Tuesdays-Fridays 10:30am-4:00pm
Fee: S$5.00-$10.00 for materials depending on activity (per participant)

Get hands-on experience with paper- and printmaking in STPI’s Guest Workshop! With two workshops to choose from, students can either get a sampling of various techniques or spend a more focused time getting in depth understanding of papermaking and etching.
Dates (please choose one block of the below dates):
- March 13, 14, 15, 16 (Tuesday-Friday)
- April 5, 12, 19, 26 (Thursdays)
- May 29, 30, 31, June 1 (Tuesday-Friday)
- November 20, 21, 22, 23 (Tuesday-Friday)
Please schedule two months in advance.
Students will:

- Be introduced to the basic printmaking techniques used in screen-printing, dry point etching, relief printing, and the making of handmade paper
- Develop a deeper understanding of printmaking and the creative process involved
- Translate their creative ideas into a finished print
- Learn how to look at art, to appreciate, evaluate, and discuss it

Duration: 4 sessions, 3 hours per session from 2-5pm
Age: Suitable for students 10 years old and above
Group Size: 12 students
Fee: S$35.00 per student per session (Total workshop cost: S$1,680.00)
For 2012, there will be an introductory price of $17.50 per student per session (Total workshop cost: S$840.00)
“Introduction to Papermaking and Etching”
Students will:
- Get familiar with STPI—our facilities and Visiting Artist Programme (VAP)
- Understand basic papermaking techniques and hard/soft ground etching
- Develop a deeper understanding of printmaking and the creative process involved
- Translate their creative ideas into a finished print
- Learn how to look at art, appreciate, evaluate, and discuss it
Instructor: Kelly Reedy
Duration: 4 sessions, 3 hours per session from 2-5pm
Age: Suitable for students 12 years old and above
Group Size: 12 students
Fee: S$35.00 per student per session (Total workshop cost: S$1,680.00)

The Singapore Tyler Print Institute offers two types of Internship Programmes to eligible applicants: Gallery Internship and Workshop Internship. There is an option for combining both programmes, spending equal weight within each faculty over the course of the internship, for suitable candidates. Each Programme runs between a minimum four and a maximum twelve week period, five days a week. Applications are open to current university students, recent graduates, graduate students, and beginning gallery professionals who hold a Singapore Citizenship, Permanent Residency or Student Pass.

Payment for School Programs is due upon arrival or in advance of services rendered. Accepted forms of payment include cash, cheques, Visa, American Express, or MasterCard.
